It was a wonderful , although very long day…filled with just a hint of anxiety, tons of excitement, and an impressivly well behaved group of faerie costumed little girls (with a few costumed adults) waiting for their television debut. And every one of them was simply spectacular – couldn’t have done better if they were professional models or actresses – and absolutely could not have been more adorable!
I was so proud of each and every one of them and so greatful to the parents who had made what must have been quite the supreme effort to get each of them camera ready and to the tv studio bright and early and all in such cheery moods!
But arriving at the day was not without chaos and a fair amount of emotional trauma. Getting prepared for a television show takes quite a bit of preparation and I had the unfortunate task of having to cut down our number of little models prior to the day of the show and disappointing both the parents and the children who’s costume’s had been cut from the show was a difficult task that I hope I never have to do again.
All of my little faerie models – especially those who did not get to be seen on camera, will be getting an invitation this week to a Faerie Tea in my garden as a special thank you. In my next blog I hope I will have some photos of that tea to share with you!
Until then…..
Remember what all faeries know: That true beauty shines from the inside out! And Fairy Dust to All!
